Thanks for all of the lovely comments yesterday. I am indeed recovering, albeit much slower than I would like. Now that the pain is gone, I want to be all better right now. But I am not. And I must just accept that and give it time.
I especially enjoyed the comment from Linda, wherein she suggested that my next knitting project could be this. I think I'll make my gallbladder removable. And maybe beaded.

Oh dear, I’m so sorry to hear about this. Sounds like you went through hell. And you couldn’t knit on top of it!
I hope you recover very quickly. Take good care.
That would be hilarious! I suggest keeping it in a jar on your beside table…or gift it to your surgeon!
Wow, did that last line ever not make sense until I followed the link. Here’s wishing you loads of quality knitting time whilst healing.
Hey, I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! Fingers crossed for no more attacks until the gall bladder is gone! Get well soon.
I have been sending you get well vibes. I so appreciate your words of encouragement about studying.
When I get worried, I think of the great people I know that have succeeded before me. Merci!
I hadn’t even thought to check the blog through all that worry—–I’m glad you’re back.
Whoa! What a way to harsh your mellow! I’m glad to read that you are on the mend and I look forward to seeing you at knit nights again soon. I’m only available on Thursday nights now as both of the older 2 have soccer on Wednesdays, but maybe that will change in July when my mom comes. Take care!
Hi everyone – Leanne’s gallbladder is continuing its efforts at an early divorce. Please think good thoughts as she is back in the hospital waiting for surgery now.
Hi Leanne–best wishes from Plurkdom, where your friend (the other Lisa) let us know you were under the weather. Get well soon, and enjoy your jello. (I would demand cherry, if I were you!) I’ll send you dancing nanners on Plurk.
I found your blog through ambergem on plurk (i am missplurksalot there.), and heard about your surgery. I do hope you have a speedy recovery. my best and warmest thoughts are with you. *hugs* from a fellow crafter.
I had my gall bladder out a few years ago. My best advice is to just take it easy until you REALLY feel better. Get well soon, and take advantage of the extra knitting time.
Hope your surgery goes well and that your recovery is effortless. Warm fuzzy thoughts are headed your way.
Hi Leanne,
Hope all goes well with the surgery and recovery. Will be thinking good thoughts and praying for you. I have connections if you need projects to knit during your down time
OuT! OuT! Darn Gallbladder!

Meh. You’re better off without it… That no-good gallbladder never paid the rent on time anyhow, and always made enough noise in the middle of the night to really piss off Mrs. Johnson down in 14B. It’s good riddance, I say, and high time.
So long, gallbladder.
Get well soon!
What? You haven’t even had a chance to knit the beaded gallbladder yet!
I hope all goes well, and that you are up and knitting soon!
xox
Eh, you don’t need a gallbladder. Get rid of it, pronto.
Oh my dear… Aside from the assumedly not insignificant discomfort you’ve been experiencing, you must be dreadfully bored… Every knit stitch today is a good thought for you.
You are home now?
It wasn’t meant to be – what’s that hokey saying about letting something/someone go, and if it was meant to be, it would come back. Good riddance to that #$% gall pladder.
Hey Leanne, hope you are feeling better… you took the whole summer off from blogging, and its now fall… are you coming back? hope so!
