My beautiful dog Macha died today. I would love to write a wonderful tribute, and tell you all of the things that made her special, but I can't. So I'll just say this – in the 11 1/2 years that she shared her life with us, not a single day went by that she didn't make us laugh and smile.
The world just seems a little bit dimmer today.

Oh Leanne, I’m so so so very sorry. Nothing I can say would make a lick of difference, but my heart goes out to you while you grieve for Macha. I she was a huge part of your life.

I was sorry to read of the loss of your dog. The photo you posted was lovely. These animals are in our lives for far too short a time but touch our hearts so deeply. Remember those smiles and the laughter she brought to you, it was her gift to you.
Oh I am so very sorry. I had to put my beautiful schnoodle down last year, and I still miss him. I swore I wouldn’t be ready for another dog for a long time, but our vet knew differently-Bear was a dog that needed to be rescued, so we dragged him home. And now he flourishes.All the best-

My Grandpa used to say that time spent loving a dog was never wasted. He was so right because they give us so much more than we could ever give them
