I had a wonderful trip with my Mom to Paris. Not only is it a lovely city to visit, but it was also a real pleasure to spend some time with my mother. As we don't live in the same city, we don't see each other too often. I'm already missing our late afternoon rituals of baguette and cheese!
I did get some knitting done as well, though pictures will have to wait. The Ribby Shell is done, and thanks to advice from Nancy, it fits wonderfully! I still need to sew in the ends and block it, but I will show it off soon, I promise. I also made progress on the Mystery Stole and I have one orange sock finished, and I'm almost to the heel on the second.
And I'm still on vacation – I don't go back to work until Tuesday. Oh Happy Days!

Was’n it wonderful though. How many mothers and daughters would love to do that but haven’t for one reason or another–we are really lucky. I miss our daily ritual of baguette and cheese, and grape juice, too ! And I miss watching you knit !

hugs to you
Nice to have a vacation that includes a wonderful location and a having the Monday to recouperate before having to return to the four letter AKA work. So glad you had a great time.
It was great to see you last night. You’re a staple in my “Perfect KnitNite” requirements
If I had a car, I could leave much later. As it is, I have to be home by 10 to be awake for 5:45. I really really wanted to stay out later last night too.
Hi Leanne – beautiful work!
