Thanks for all of the nice comments on the shawl! I hope you don't mind a second post on the same topic – since it took me a month to make, I figure it's worth at least two posts
Here are a couple more pictures, which are a bit better than the one I posted originally
This last picture also gives a glimpse of my messy cubicle at work.
I think I will re-block the shawl on the weekend. I didn't block it as aggressively as I could have, as I was worried about it being too long on the arms. I measured the length I wanted, but it has shrunk back some so now when I wear it it goes to a couple of inches above my wrist, so I'd like it a bit longer. As well, the edges aren't as straight as I'd like. When I was threading the blocking wires through the edges, I was impatient and ran them through every few stitches, instead of taking the time to thread them through every stitch. I know I can do a better blocking job, and so I will. I do love it though!

The Shawl is amazing! oh and the cubical looks clean compared to my little corner of the world. Thanks for sharing with us. You truley inspire us with your knitting.
Its so beautiful Leanne! And I think your cubicle looks like the model of organization by piles. Takes one to know one!
I’m still in awe of the shawl. Its really really beautiful. I have my first lace shawl OTN but its slow going for me, you, well you just jump right in there and start changing patterns!!! LOL good on ya!
Leanne, I wanted to thank you for answering my question about which direction to read a chart on Susan’s blog! Most helpful, and your shawl is lovely! Thanks again.
It’s stunning! Does it stay on, as promised? I’m always awed by women who can keep shawls and scarves on without wrapping them around their necks. I never can.
Another thing of beauty, Leanne. You are truly talented!
