Rubberized paint for the bottoms of your slippers can be bought at Home Hardware, either in spray can or liquid paint in a can. I got mine at the Home Hardware in Kanata on March Rd. Not much color choice I'm sorry to say! But I was lucky to find it - I looked everyware.

Great clogs - I really must get that pattern!

Just a few trinkets as thanks for the making the gane so much fun. And you deserve more than second place to us and that's why we came up with the "consulation" prize. Hey, you're like family now. We have SP9 in common :)

I'm going to make the clogs later this summer to wear in the fall. I have some Manos yarn all picked out for them.

Debbie has the same hedgehog pattern but she wants to make him in Purple. less normal but just as cute.

That hedgehog is SO cute! Now I have to make one too. I found small black buttons for teddy bear eyes at Michaels - but in the sewing section.

Also - for non skid you can use 3-D fabric paint - although I'm told to stay away from the metallics - apparently they flake off.

Hi,

There's a doll show coming up at the beginning of May that may have the eyes you're looking for. I saw the flyer at Yarn Forward on Friday - so they've probably still got some on hand.

Have you considered needle felting the eyes? It's not the same effect, I know - but it's worth considering.

And last, but not least, if you're really stuck, drop me a line. I have some bear eyes left over from my bear making days that might fit the bill.

I love the felting! I have both projects waiting to be knit (the hedgehog for obvious reasons). I would love to hear if you find a place that stocks the eyes you're looking for. That Michael's has failed me many times - can you believe they don't carry buttons?!
