Lots of knitting, little to show

The problem with working on big projects, is that it makes for fewer FOs to blog about. The afghan is in the same state as last week, as I haven't yet made it to the store to pick up more Patons SWS. The big pile o' lace has become a bigger pile o' lace:

Not much to show yet. In the meantime, how about a dishcloth? I haven't made one of those in a while:

  Diagonal Pyramid Dishcloth

The stitch pattern used here is the Little Pyramid Pattern from Barbara Walker's A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns, but I knit it on the diagonal like I did in the Diagonal Ripple Dishcloth. I will post this pattern in a couple of days, both charted and written out. Here's a closeup of the stitch pattern. It's nice an bumpy like a dishcloth should be, and completely reversible, as an added bonus.

That's it for the knitting today. Not terribly exciting, I know. I look forward to showing you the Big Pile O' Lace when it looks like something other than a Big Pile O' Lace!

Ooooo! That big pile of lace is looking beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing it blocked so the pattern stands out. Oh, the anticipation!

The lace is looking really nice! There is something so appealing about cream or white lace. Its an expirience for the senses!
